TORONTO, January 31, 2022 /CNW/ – With spring fast approaching, Global today announced the network’s upcoming mid-season lineup with the return of two of the top 3 shows of fall 2021, Survivor Season 42 (firsts Wednesday March 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT) and 9-1-1 Season 5 (returns March 21st at 8 p.m. ET/PT). New series are also joining Global’s schedule, including highly anticipated true-crime limited series. The thing about Pam (firsts tuesday march 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT) and new comedy How do we ride (firsts Thursday, March 31st at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT). Also coming in March, the 10and homegrown season, reality hit Big Brother Canada with an all-new drama season.

From this Wednesday, celebrity big brother returns for a third season February 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT with a group of celebrities including the two-time NBA champion Lamar Odom, former Real Housewives Cynthia Bailey and Teddi Mellencamp, and Saturday Night Live alum Chris Kattan among others living together in the Big Brother lodge. Julie Chen Moonves returns as a host. After the first, celebrity big brother will air multiple nights each week throughout February, with the finale on Wednesday February 23.

In March, Global is Canada’s home for limited series The thing about Pam, based on the hard-to-believe and real story that has become a real worldwide criminal phenomenon. With a two-time Oscar winner Renee Zellweger who will make her television debut as an executive producer and star alongside Josh Duhamel and Judy Greer, the six-episode direct order is produced by Blumhouse Television, NBC News Studios and Big Picture Co. jenny klein is showrunner and executive producer of the series based on the 2011 murder Betsy Faria this resulted in the conviction of her husband Russ, although he insisted that he had not killed her.
