Other Voices announces a live event to be held at the Irish Embassy in London on October 29, 2021, hosted by Annie Mac and featuring The Unthanks, Saint Sister, Michael McGoldrick and Katie Melua. The event will be broadcast for free via the Embassy’s social media channels and other voices and YouTube as well as Folk Radio UK Facebook page.
Presented in conjunction with the Irish Embassy in London, Other Voices: London Calling will bring together the music community from both sides of the Irish Sea in an uplifting music showcase hosted by the legendary Irish broadcaster Annie Mac.
At night, an eclectic folk group Thanks return to the Other Voices stage, in an electro-acoustic duo Holy sister playing songs from their critically acclaimed second album. There will also be a special performance by the pioneering folk multi-instrumentalist Michael mcgoldrick, while Belfast has elevated the best-selling artist Katie Melua makes the long-awaited debut of Other Voices.
Other Voices: London Calling aims to build a cultural bridge this fall, celebrating the phenomenal breadth of talent across these islands and their influence on the global music scene.

Following a series of inspiring livestreams from Cardiff, Galway and Dublin earlier this year, London Calling will be the final stop on Other Voices before returning home to Dingle to celebrate its 20th anniversary in November.
