The Tennessee Lady Vols will be looking to return to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2016, when they reached the Elite Eight. They’re still stoned without Keyen Green and probably without Jordan Horston, but that would be a huge accomplishment, and Belmont’s wrath is a golden opportunity for them to do just that.

On the other side, Belmont is looking to reach their first Sweet 16. Despite their recent history of reaching the Big Dance, Saturday was only the second time they won an NCAA Tournament game. They are 2-6 all-time in the big dance.

Last year, Rocky Top was favored to reach the Sweet 16 but was upset in the second round by the Michigan Wolverines, who always seem to give UT trouble on the field in any sport. They will obviously be looking to make up for it this time.

Whichever team wins this game will face the No. 1 seed Louisville Cardinals in Wichita next Saturday. Led by 15th-year head coach Jeff Walz, Louisville won its second-round March Madness game against the Gonzaga Bulldogs on Sunday.
