Kaizer Chiefs has been in the headlines for the past few weeks, for several different reasons; but all relating to a possible rebuild after a few disappointing seasons. It all started with the appointment of Arthur Zwane as permanent coach and Dillon Sheppard as assistant. Then came the mass exodus, which saw the chiefs get rid of a whopping eleven players, opening up space in the squad for new signings. The transfer window has treated the Glamor Boys well so far following the announcement of Dillan Solomons as a Chiefs player; the team’s fifth new player. Zwane is a big talking point and high hopes have been pinned on the former Chiefs star as he knows the culture and what is expected of players and Sheppard is not far behind.

AmaZulu also made transfer news after announcing some massive signings. Gabadinho Mhango from Pirates and Zuma from Chiefs to name a few, to put it bluntly, AmaZulu means business this year!
