Good Glamm acquires Indian digital and media platform ScoopWhoop

THE WHAT? MyGlamm’s parent company, Good Glamm, has acquired India’s digital and multimedia platform ScoopWhoop.

THE DETAILS The acquisition will allow Good Glamm to reach a larger number of consumers, with ScoopWhoop having a male audience of over 60%.

Based in New Delhi, ScoopWhoop will continue to operate as an independent brand and media house within the Good Glamm Group.

Founders Sattvik Mishra, Rishi Pratim Mukherjee and Sriparna Tikekar will continue to lead ScoopWhoop and will work closely with Darpan Sanghvi, Priyanka Gill and Naiyya Saggi, co-founders of the Good Glamm Group.

THE WHY ? The buyout would pave the way for Good Glamm to enter content-to-commerce for the rapidly growing male segment, with the company ready to invest Rs. 500 crore in the male category.
