Former Saugus High School principal arrested for embezzlement and perjury in former fraudulent Chinese exchange program


Bill Bolde, former principal of Saugus High School, was arrested on Saturday for embezzlement and perjury after being investigated over an ongoing exchange program.

At around 7 a.m. on Saturday, deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) Fraud and Cybercrime Division arrested and charged Bolde with embezzlement and perjury after he allegedly surrendered. to the police, according to LASD officials.

Bolde, current Executive Director of Career Services and Management at Masters University, was Principal of Saugus High School for 14 years and coach and teacher for 16 years before retiring in 2017.

Bolde, 65, was arrested on Saturday in lieu of $ 45,000 bail, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Inmate Information Service.
