Executive Team Takes Control of TCMH with CEO ExitOzark Radio News


Houston, Mo. Following a meeting of the Texas County Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees on Wednesday, July 13, Chris Strickland is no longer employed at TCMH. Strickland was chief executive of TCMH, a position he assumed in April 2021.

Board members voted unanimously in favor of the hiring decision. Following the vote, the board appointed an interim management team to manage the day-to-day operations of the hospital. The management team is made up of Linda Pamperien, Chief Financial Officer of TCMH; Courtney Owens, TCMH Chief Nursing Officer; Bill Bridges, director of TCMH emergency medical services; Jeff Gettys, Director of Projects and the TCMH Foundation.

The TCMH Board of Directors released the following statement on Thursday. “We have tried and will always try to do what is best for the employees and patients of this hospital.” Board members asked the management team to help them keep the hospital moving forward during the transition period.

Retaining current medical staff and recruiting additional medical staff continue to be top priorities at TCMH. The completion of the surgical department at the hospital will continue as planned along with other ongoing projects.
