NASSAU, BAHAMAS – After a hard-fought game Friday night, the DePaul men’s basketball team has a quick turnaround for Sunday’s game against Oklahoma State. The game serves as a match for third place at the Baha Mar Bahamas Championships.
Sunday’s game ends at 3:30 p.m. CT on CBS Sports Network with Chris Sylvester and Kyle Macy on the call. The radio broadcast will be available online at DePaulBlueDemons.com.
DePaul (3-1) lost its first game of the 2022-23 season against Santa Clara, 61-69. After facing a deficit as large as 17 points, the Blue Demons clawed back less than four but couldn’t get past Santa Clara. Umoja Gibson led DePaul to score for the second time this season with 18 points, four assists and five rebounds.
Sunday will be the first meeting between the two programs since November 25, 2010 and November 21st all the time. Oklahoma State has won the past two meetings by a combined six points. DePaul’s last win against the Cowboys was in 1953 with an 11-point win.
OKLAHOMA STATE SCOUTING
Oklahoma State (2-2) was pushed into overtime against UCF on Friday night, ultimately falling to the Knights, 60-56. Moussa Cissé led Oklahoma State on Friday with its third straight double-double, recording 14 points and 14 rebounds.
DePaul returns home Friday, Nov. 25 as they host #24 Texas A&M for a 12 p.m. game. The game will be broadcast on FS1. Fans can purchase tickets starting at $24 with code DEMONS for a limited time.
