Audacy appoints new Chief Brand Officer

Audacy has announced the promotion of Dan Hardee to brand manager of 99.5 The Mountain (KQMT-FM) in Denver, effective immediately. In this role, Hardee will oversee the station’s content strategy, talent, operations and branding. He will continue to be the station’s afternoon show host, as well as the afternoon show host for Rochester sister station 96.5 WCMF (WCMF- FM).

Originally from Colorado, Dan Hardee joined 99.5 The Mountain in 2016 as the host of the afternoon show. He expanded his role to also host afternoons for Rochester sister station 96.5 WCMF (WCMF-FM) in April 2021. Hardee spent a year at Bonneville International in Denver as an on-air host for KYGO and KOSI (2015-2016) as well as for Westwood One from 2014-2015. Prior to that, he served as production manager for Wilks Broadcasting’s KIMN, KWOF, and KXKL, while spending time with Citadel Broadcasting’s KKPK in Colorado Springs and Clear Channel in Pueblo, CO.
